 Thank you.  Yes!  Sorry to be so silly.
 
 (There's a texinfo.tex file in the same directory where I was running tex
 on the termcap.texi file, and I had assumed that that would be sufficient,
 but I guess not.)
 
 OK, next question:  Now that I have a nice .dvi file, what FreeBSD package
 do i need to intall in order to get the `dvips' utility so that I can turn
 this .dvi file into something that's actually usable?
 
 P.S.  Please forgive my abundant ignorance.  I'm relatively new to FreeBSD.
