I've done this in a couple of older releases as well as in Linux and its always been a trivial exercise, but now just cannot get it to work. I have I three-buttin Genius mouse (without a protocol selection switch) on cuaa0. Using : moused -t microsoft - p /dev/cuaa0 vidcontrol -m on I can get it working perfectly on the console, but with the same settings, there is no response in X. I've tried various other settings, as well as another mouse with a protocol selection switch to no avail. I've also used XF86Setup as well as xf86config. Disabling moused doesn't help, although starting the Xserver does disable moused in some way. What am I missing?? -- Pierre_Andre van Leeuwen Electronic Engineer -------------------------------------------------------------- | E-mail : pvl@nanoteq.com | Nanoteq (Pty) Ltd. | | Ph : +27 (0)12 665-1338 | Specialists in data security | --------------------------------------------------------------
