https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D261590 Bug ID: 261590 Summary: virtio_console fails to create ttyV* devices on 12.3-RELEASE Product: Base System Version: 12.3-STABLE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: geraud@gcu.info We are using FreeBSD VMs under the Proxmox virtualization system, and qemu-guest-agent to interact with them from the hypervizor. Last week I upgraded one of our 12.2-RELEASE VM to 12.3-RELEASE and noticed that the qemu-guest-agent didn't work as expected. Upon further verificatio= n, it looks like the virtio_console doesn't create a /dev/ttyV0.1 as it previo= usly did. Running `pciconf -lv` indeed doesn't report a 'Virtio console' device anymo= re. I'll admit that I'm perfectly clueless on how to debug/fix this kind of iss= ues, any pointers will be much appreciated. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
