How can I test this? I think the xdm-config file got overwritten during the port upgrade with the default (secure?) settings. I had to comment out the last setting in xdm-config % tail -3 /usr/local/lib/X11/xdm/xdm-config ! SECURITY: do not listen for XDMCP or Chooser requests !
