The following reply was made to PR ports/52456; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Mario Sergio Fujikawa Ferreira <lioux@FreeBSD.org> To: FreeBSD-gnats-submit@FreeBSD.ORG Cc: naddy@FreeBSD.org, David Yeske <dyeske@yahoo.com> Subject: Re: ports/52456 - new port:audio/xmms-flac Date: Mon, 9 Jun 2003 16:21:37 -0300 --PNTmBPCT7hxwcZjr Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Christian, What do you think about this? It allows users to get the plugin optionally without having to reinstall the flac port. Aside =66rom the reasons given by David on his PR. http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=3D52456 I've already revised his port. It is ready to go. However, since your port can install the plugin if XMMS is installed, it conflicts with xmms-flac port. Would you mind disabling the plugin build in flac permanently? So that we can commit xmms-flac?
