I recompiled kernel with CD and audio card (SB16). I can use 'cdplay' to listen
to a music CD.

However I cannot run 'xcd' abd besides when running Netscape to play an .au
file, I got the message /dev/audio permission denied. I do not see /dev/audio
and if I make it with MAKEDEV, it said device or file not found.

Any idea? Thank you,
