After ppp had been killed in this way, I dialed in again through ppp, and got a number of i4b errors, (although the connection did open successfully) of which there is a dump below. Then the ppp connection died about 30 minutes after it was restarted. It was still open according to ppp -> show physical, but I could not ping my ISP. When I reconnected right after, I did not see any error messages. Could someone please explain (if possible) what the cause of these errors may be, and any advice as to how the problem might be fixed? P.S. Is that the best way to terminate your ppp connection at a certain time? P.P.S. I hope this question hasn't been asked before; I did do a search on the list archives though, and found nothing. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- i4b-L1 iwic_dchan_xirq: XCOL in state F7 i4b-L2 i4b_T200_timeout: unit 0, RC = 0 i4b-L2 i4b_rxd_ack: ((N(R)-1)=127) != (UA=0) !!! i4b-L2 i4b_invoke_retransmission: nr = 0 i4b-L2 i4b_invoke_retransmission: nr(0) != vs(1) i4b-L2 i4b_invoke_retransmission: ERROR, l2sc->vs = 0, l2sc->ua_num = -1 i4b-L2 i4b_i_frame_queued_up: ERROR, mbuf NULL after IF_DEQUEUE i4b-L3 T303_timeout: SETUP not answered, cr = 53 Oct 22 08:06:39 noya /kernel: i4b-L1 iwic_dchan_xirq: XCOL in state F7 Oct 22 08:06:39 noya /kernel: i4b-L1 iwic_dchan_xirq: XCOL in state F7 Oct 22 08:06:40 noya /kernel: i4b-L2 i4b_T200_timeout: unit 0, RC = 0 Oct 22 08:06:40 noya /kernel: i4b-L2 i4b_T200_timeout: unit 0, RC = 0 Oct 22 08:06:40 noya /kernel: i4b-L2 i4b_rxd_ack: ((N(R)-1)=127) != (UA=0) !!!
