Well, it says 'supposedly corrects' It didnt work for me with 5.4.10 
version when I used -fPIC in make.conf while compiling everything. 
Although I am not sure if 5.4.10 overrides that somehow...

It would be nice if you could test it when 5.4.12 is available in ports. 
I really want to get rid of those x32 libraries...
