The strange thing is, that my provider says explicitly, "the authentication is PAP" !!! The other thing is, that Win-95 has no problems connecting to my provider. When dialing, i just write username and password in the appropriate textfields and everything is fine. (Shit ... don't want to use Win-95; i want and have to use FreeBSD !!!)
