I am trying to get my APS dat drive to work with FreeBSD 2.1. I have tried using an Adaptec 1515, 1522, 1542b. All see the drive and I can start a dump. About 1 - 3 minutes into the dump I start getting the following error: Jan 3 01:29:23 amos /kernel: st0(aic0:4:0): timed out Changing SCSI_DELAY from 15 to 25 in the kernel still timed out occaisionally and resulted in: Jan 4 02:46:06 amos /kernel: st0(aic0:4:0): ABORTED COMMAND info:f800 asc:4b,0 Data phase error Jan 4 02:46:06 amos /kernel: st0(aic0:4:0): HARDWARE FAILURE info:10000 asc:44,0 Internal target failure Jan 4 02:46:06 amos /kernel: st0(aic0:4:0): HARDWARE FAILURE info:10000 asc:44,0 Internal target failure I have termination on the card (DAT drive is the only device on this card) and on the APS (APS has active termination, tried both with on and off). Any Ideas?! Thanks, Tracy Snell EnterAct, L.L.C. tjs@enteract.com 312-248-8511
