hmmm... I'd recommend getting the bin from apache.org: goto ftp.apache.org; cd to /apache/dist/binaries/freebsd_2.1/ get the file apache_1.0.0-freebsd-2.1.tar.gz untar it, modify the .conf files a little bit, then u should be able to just run it.
