If you have a Sound Blaster 16, 32, or AWE32 and have tried mtv (www.mpegtv.com - Linux Video and System stream player) on an MPEG system stream (audio+video), I'd sure like to hear from you whether you're getting audio or not. After updating to the Voxware 3.5 driver and updating the Linux emulation to pass the new ioctls, mtv still doesn't play audio on my Sound Blaster 32 under FreeBSD 2.2.1. I get a dialog that says: Warning! Cant play audio: Dev. busy or sampl. rate unsup. (muting) Invalid argument I've buzzed all the MIXER and DSP ioctls and none of them are failing. I'm guessing that maybe this is a write() to the audio device failing, but I'm not sure how to verify this on a Linux binary. Any ideas? Randall
