Should:

         for (i = 1; i < sizeof(linux_errtbl); i++) {

Be:

         for (i = 1; i < sizeof(linux_errtbl)/sizeof(linux_errtbl[0]); 
i++) {


Or:

         for (i = 1; i < (int)nitems(linux_errtbl); i++) {
