Yeah, but the VPS-systems (OpenVZ, Virtuozzo) do the job, too. And for those who want the VPS-model without actually running Linux, there's Joyent's Cloud (public/private) - that can run KVM, too. AFAIK, KVM being slow means you don't have enough I/O.
