Maybe you can take a look at Smart BootManager. It's
home page is:

http://btmgr.sourceforge.net/.

It can boot from 2 disks, but I don't know whether it
can handle SCSI well. Since it can be installed on a
floppy, the bottom line is that it won't hurt.
