I don't know of any CSU/DSU cards, so you pretty much can't replace that. Are you going to do 56K or fractional T1? I just say that because I know you can get a 56K only CSU/DSU for considerably cheeper than $1000. We sell Motorola 56K CSU/DSU for $240. I guess a T1 is going to cost $1000 or so. I'm not a sales guy, so I don't know exactly. Are you going dedicated line or Frame Relay? Frame is cheeper. Then you'd need a synchronous serial port, and software (Frame or dedicated) to run it.
