I just hate when my machine shuts down dying on batteries, grrr! I'm running 6.1-RELEASE-p1 ACPI is disabled with hint.acpi.0.disabled=3D"1" in /boot/device.hints then enabled apm by adding=20 hint.apm.0.disabled=3D"0" #hint.apm.0.flags=3D"0x20" I have device apm in my kernel file apm_load=3D"YES" has been added to my /boot/loader.conf still apm is not working :(, I get /dev/apm not available messages during bootup :( Your help will be really appreciated... -- Sincerely, Yousef Raffah Senior Systems Administrator -- Aren't you using Firefox?
