That won't work.

Hints are no longer supported by the 'ep' driver in RELENG_4 and CURRENT.

I'd like to see the original poster boot verbosely and show me the
relevent output.

In particular I'm looking for:

isa0: if_ep: <...> at 0xNNN in PnP mode!
