hi,

i'm having a problem relocting the ftp root firectory on a machine. it's
more or less stock release 2.2.7 with the original ftpd. i want to move
the root dir. from /var/ftp to /usr/home/ftp, i've tried
/stand/sysinstall, updated the password file entry for ftp, checked the
permissions of the new directory etc. but when i try to log-in
anonymously, the server responds:

550 Can't set guest privileges

and refuses the login.

any help you can give is much appreciated.
