I have just installed it, but it does not answer the HTTP queries. The release notes for the Escalade 7xxx say that the 1.09.00.014 version is required (see http://www.3ware.com/download/Escalade/7.1.1/7.1.1FWRN.pdf) 3dm-bsd.1.09.00.002 works just fine with the Escalade 6xxx, of course.
