I've never tried this sorry, but, could you please test
with --enable-openldap in your configure option?

I found this...
in config_office/configure.in
 
AC_ARG_ENABLE(openldap,
[   --enable-openldap      Enables the use of the OpenLDAP LDAP SDK instead
                           of the Netscape/Mozilla one
],,)
just a try.
