I use java_X version "jdk1.1.5-Freebsd:02/25/98" from the ports collection and it works ok for me. You could also try to use less optimization when compiling the JDK? Also I have noticed that the java compilation doesn't work well with the '-O' flag for optimization, generating various exceptions and such. I hope you can manage to get jCVS to work for you, regards --Jeroen ~ Jeroen Hogeveen // *BSD UNIX; For powerful, stable, efficient serving jh@twiddle.com // Free x86-BSD @ http://www.freebsd.org/ Any opinions expressed herein are not those of present nor past employers.
