            Bug ID: 251845
Summary: print/apsfilter no longer exists, no replacement
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: vnebel@web.de

Hi,

my printer is Postscript printer, which was the standard printing language =
at
some time. When the apsfilter was still available, I could just print anyth=
ing.
Now it is quite an issue. Is there a way to bring this port back to life? Or
provide something similar? The handbook offer a printer filter that can pri=
nt
ASCII and Postscript, which is not quite sufficient today, when most progra=
ms
print in pdf-format.

Hoping for a positive answer,
Volker
