All you need is a 386SX (or better) with a minimum of 4MB RAM and at least 60MB of disk space to get a very complete version of Unix. As it's BSD-based, it's very standard and an excellent platform for things like learning about TCP/IP, how to program under Unix, setting up a network, running an Internet server or learning about administering a Unix system.
