Actually my hope was that the people who do these kind of commits would be more proactive about posting these kinds of things. Every time something is posted to bugtraq (et al) that affects freebsd someone asks, usually on this list. It would be nice if the person who had comitted the samba fix had sent a 2 or 3 line e-mail to that effect, but I know y'all are volunteers so I'll take what I can get.
