I think cvsup provided that as an intermediary reading cvs. I think svn requires a checkout, then the non-commit-atomic rsync. Gnats is hopefully being gutted for a real ticketing system, but I have not seen much open public discussion on it. The raw mailing list archives is a huge value to be able to mirror and load into your local MUA/searcher. And if someone would set the forum to send out an archive mail per post that would be just as cool and useful. Www should be from and just a repo mirror as usual. The wiki needs to present an export/mirror interface too. MediaWiki does that well, and you can back any good wiki with git or some rcs, but again, who will express interest, talk, and let features / migrate all these good things... ??? People like to do local things with all these datas :)
