 I re-built the system (mergemaster, new kernel, etc.)
 and booted without the PCMCIA cards.  It panic'd again
 after:
 
 IP packet filtering initialized, divert disabled, rule-based forwarding
 enabled,
  default to accept, logging limited to 100 packets/entry by default
 bpf: ds0 attached
 bpf: vlan0 attached
 bpf: lo0 attached
 ad0: success setting UDMA2 on Intel chip
 Creating DISK ad0
 panic: biodone: bp 0xc10f5200 not busy 0
