I like cdd, myself. It produces much more reliable rips, retries on error much better than other rippers. The port is currently marked as broken (due to changes in the SCSI subsystem that are difficult to patch around), but you can find a precompiled package for 3.4-(STABLE,RELEASE} on any FreeBSD ftp site, and it will still work on 4.x versions.
