Instead, port 1024 is being assigned to it by the system. The system was rebuilt from sources which were cvsupped from cvsup3.de on Oct. 13. When I run the scripts manually, they work as expected. The problem occurs with a custom and the GENERIC kernel as well. The system built from Oct 6's sources did not have this problem. Any ideas?
