I'd like if the list remained socially liberal and members consider others before they post or reply to the list. Today I received 18 email messages from the list, including 2 job postings and 1 relevant response - that's a 5:1 cruft:quality ratio! I appreciate list members that follow the charter, but I would be silently grateful to those wishing to complain that respond directly to the writer. Few seem to realize how many people receive emails when they reply to this list. Please exercise common courtesy and reserve the mailing list for pertinent emails (e.g. job postings, resumes, and messages like Paul Robinson's original response). Thanks, Eric Johnston (P.S.
