Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-ports@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Quick question about how I should name a port. It's the Ascend modified radius daemon. This is essentially Livingston radius v1.16 with Ascend modifications. The problem is that Ascend doesn't give patch levels or version numbers to their releases, just dates. There has been in the past a 951220, 960127, 960328, 960528, 960904, etc. How should I name this port ? ascend-radius-1.16 ascend-radius-960904 ascend-radius-1.16-960904 ascend-radius-1.16pl? (? being the number of patches they've done so far) Comments appreciated. -- j. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | James FitzGibbon james@nexis.net | | Integrator, The Nexis Group Voice/Fax : 416 410-0100 | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
