Luckily, this machine has 2 CPUs :) First it was squid-2.3stable3, but now I have upgraded it to 2.4stable6. The result shown by top, is the same :(( Is it typical for squid? Several years ago I was using squid (don't remember the version) under linux slackware and as far as I remember there was no such problem... Regards, Anton V.
