I've got a machine that I cvup'd lst night, and I'm having a problem running portupgrade on it. It's got Gnome2, and also some Gnome 1.4 librarties required by (for example) ogle. I'm getting an error message like this: pkg_delete: /var/db/pkg/gnomesession-2.2.2_1/+CONTENTS: No such file or directory [Updating the pkgdb <format:bdb1_btree> in /var/db/pkg ... - 330 packages found (-1 +0) (...) done] ---> Installing the new version via the port ===> Installing for libart_lgpl2-2.3.15 ===> libart_lgpl2-2.3.15 depends on executable: pkg-config - found ===> Generating temporary packing list ===> Checking if graphics/libart_lgpl2 already installed *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/graphics/libart_lgpl2. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/graphics/libart_lgpl2. ** Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa /tmp/portupgrade314.8 make reinstall egrep: /var/db/pkg/libart_lgpl2-2.3.14/+CONTENTS: No such file or directory ---> Restoring the old version pkg_add: /var/db/pkg/gnomesession-2.2.2_1/+CONTENTS: No such file or directory pkg_add: /var/db/pkg/gnomesession-2.2.2_1/+CONTENTS: No such file or directory ** Fix the installation problem and try again. [Updating the pkgdb <format:bdb1_btree> in /var/db/pkg ... - 331 packages found (-0 +1) . done] And then things star to fall apart. I've run portsdb -Fu, in an atempt to fix this, but that has bot resolved the problem. Can anyone help me diagnos and resolve this problem? -- "They that would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin
