My first reaction to this was "eeewww", but now that I think about it this is pretty slick. I'm in the midst of porting WA4DSY's aprsd to FreeBSD and I'm going to use this instead of the 'post-patch:\n\t@${CP} ${FILESDIR}/Makefile ${WRKSRC}' trick.
