Hi, We have a experiment program which gets run out of /usr/local/etc/rc.d and it always get a SIGHUP when run by /etc/rc but not when run by hand. Any ideas why? Its not much of a problem, but we're concerned that we may get other unexpected signals later which WOULD be a problem :) BTW the problem was worked around by getting sh to spawn a subshell which ran sleep 1, and the the actual experiment demon. --- Daniel O'Connor software and network engineer for Genesis Software - http://www.gsoft.com.au "The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from." -- Andrew Tanenbaum To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
