It may only be this silly board.
I've recently played with a 6.0 RC on a Dual Xeon 3.2 (Lindenhurst) and 
it worked.
The machines are relatively old now - they are being re-purposed now, 
piece-by-piece.
But RH7.2 seems to work with it.
