It's worth noting in passing that the /usr/src/sys/arm/conf/RPI2 config file used in this setup contains the lines: # Comment following lines for boot console on serial port device vt device kbdmux device ukbd The machine _has_ a serial console, and only a serial console, despite the lines not being commented.
