No, Seyon is a terminal program.  If you want to run X applications you 
will need IP over your serial connection (either SLIP or PPP).  I use 
iijppp to do this sort of thing.  I believe you could also use somthing 
called TIA but I have no experience with this.

try iijppp if your service provider supports PPP.  Information on this is 
in man ppp :)
