So to me it shouldn't be an excuse to put a duplicated copy of /usr/[s]bin into /rescue. It is a delicate thing to get right - and there are easy ways to do it today: Boot from disc1; mount / and /usr; mv /mnt/etc /mnt/etc.hold; rm -rf the bits in bin,sbin,libexec; then run the install.sh from the disc1; mv /mnt/etc /mnt/etc.new ; mv /mnt/etc.hold /mnt/etc -- -- David (obrien@FreeBSD.org)
