hello, I have also this problem, this is because the root and a local user have different path for pkgconfig. To resolve it, I create two link to one of this following folder folder (and copy all file in one of them). /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig /usr/local/libdata/pkgconfig /usr/X11R6/libdata/pkgconfig when you do 'make install' for glib, you do it under a root account and when you do a './configure' for other package, you do as a user account. I hope this can help you. >From: Tsu-Fan Cheng <tscheng@ic.sunysb.edu> >To: gnome@freebsd.org >Subject: gtk20 >Date: Thu, 1 Aug 2002 14:19:52 -0400 (EDT) > >hi, gnome, > i am building gnome2.0 on freebsd4.6, i have problem in gtk20 step, >when configureing, i said my glib version is worng, but i just install >glib (version = 2.0.4), if i put --disable-glibtest in Makefile, then this >goes away, and configure output file correctly recognise my glib, but now >the other problem comes, it's about atk, which i just install the latest >one, please give me some advices. > >p.s. i will attach config.log file in the next email. > > >Best Regards, :-) > >Tsu-Fan Cheng [¾G¯ª¦|] (BIG5) >SUNY at Stony Brook >Stony Brook, NY, 11794 > >"There is no gene for the human spirits" ~GATTACA > > >To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org >with "unsubscribe freebsd-gnome" in the body of the message _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-gnome" in the body of the message
