https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D279358 Bug ID: 279358 Summary: www/xcaddy: Seems like maybe lang/go should be a run dependency? Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bob@vesterman.com CC: go@FreeBSD.org, olgeni@FreeBSD.org CC: go@FreeBSD.org, olgeni@FreeBSD.org I just installed www/xcaddy and tried running it: # xcaddy 2024/05/27 21:51:39 [ERROR] exec [go list -mod=3Dreadonly -m -json all]: ex= ec: "go": executable file not found in $PATH: # I don't have lang/go installed. Obviously I can (and momentarily will) inst= all it, but it seems like www/xcaddy should have it as a runtime dependency so = that it gets installed automatically? It looks like xcaddy has it marked as a bu= ild dependency, but not a runtime dependency. Apologies if I'm misunderstanding something. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
