https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D265250 --- Comment #8 from Tatsuki Makino <tatsuki_makino@hotmail.com> --- (In reply to Stefan E=C3=9Fer from comment #7) Even MASTER_SITES that require ca_root_nss when downloading distfiles will = not cause problems in most cases. Some of the reasons for it are listed below. + Most users will have installed ca_root_nss. (Web browser or etc. need it.) + If download of the distfiles from https fail, the distfiles will finally = be downloaded from MASTER_SITE_BACKUP. And my > And it seems to me that the problem is less likely to occur these days, h= as something changed on the base side? These days, it seems that several root certificates are installed in the ba= se just like any other OS. They are located in /usr/share/certs. But I don't know if they are used when fetching distfile. To begin with, I don't know why ca_root_nss would be needed for that server= :) Is intermediate certificate relevant or not...? --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
