I see rtsp:// urls but having trouble with those channels behind my custom router (with NAT) was not something new. I've tested rtp streaming between a vlc and a mplayer instances without problem.

This one keeps getting stranger too. I don't see the message when closing every other Qt application, or when I play non HD videos. This might also not be a porting issue.

Seems I should take a detour to the vlc mailing lists for those issues :)
