The root name servers list: relic.org. 2D IN NS ns1.wholesalehosting.net. relic.org. 2D IN NS ns2.wholesalehosting.net. relic.org. 2D IN NS ns1.globalwebhost.com. relic.org. 2D IN NS y2net1.y2net.net. Of these, - ns1.wholesalehosting.net seems to answer okay. ns2.wholesalehosting.net doesn't answer at all. - ns1.globalwebhost.com gives (authoritatively!) the name servers as: relic.org. 86400 NS 208.241.171.2. relic.org. 86400 NS 208.241.171.130. (notice the name servers are given by IP address, not name! This doesn't work!), and it gives 208.241.171.80 as the A record for relic.org. - y2net1.y2net.net is a lame server, and gives 208.241.171.80 as the A record for relic.org. If you expect an A query for relic.org to give consistent answers, you need to get this fixed.
