The file is named 'pthreads-1_60_beta2_FreeBSD.tar.gz'. There is also a README file called 'pthreads-1_60b2.README'. Basically it just says here it is and here's where it's configured to install. I recommend against reconfiguring the installation unless you are proficient at editing makefiles and such. It really is a mess, and people on the pthreads mailing list have had the same problems I ran into. Hopefully it'll be cleaned up in the future. Can someone move the file to a reasonable location and announce that it's been moved? You can report problems to the author. I didn't make any source changes to get things working, only configuration changes. Enjoy!
