Folks,

[ Reply-to set to me, feel free to unset it if you think it's appropriate ]

As outlined in

 <URL:http://www.nothing-going-on.demon.co.uk/FreeBSD/docbook-migration.html>;

(and posted to -doc for review a couple of weeks ago) I've just branched
the contents of doc/handbook. The effort to migrate the Handbook from
the LinuxDoc DTD to the DocBook DTD will proceed along this branch, with
regular changes to the Handbook happening along the trunk.

Contrary to the documentation at the above URL, the branch tag is

    LINUXDOC_2_DOCBOOK_BP

I added the final _BP to be consistent with other branch tags visible
in the files. I'll update that URL tonight.

I will wait a day or so until the mirrors have caught up, and then
put together a quick guide for anyone who wants to use CVSup to download
the DocBook version of the Handbook as it's being converted.
