I found that playing with either: (sysctl) vfs.zfs.txg.write_limit_override or (boot/loader.conf) vfs.zfs.txg.timeout=3D5 (boot/loader.conf) vfs.zfs.txg.synctime=3D5 Helped with the write problem.
