Hiya I've been trying to find out some information on programming the fb/vesa interface, eg. set_video_mode() and friends. From the few examples I've seen, it appears that you have to muck about with banks rather than use a pointer to linear frame buffer (logo_saver.c, splash.c). Is there no way to access the fb linearly? Does anyone know of any resources giving more information on fb programming?
