1. incorrect URL is followed by an interface shutdown. must abort
   and restart.
2. after completion of NOVICE install, then going to Configuration
   menu and selecting Distributions causes SIG 11. This was the same
   behavior with 3.4-19991219-STABLE.
3. Disklabel Menu: select A for Auto then delete swap and usr. then i
   attempted to create a partition. i get a system message: Unable
   to create the Partions, too big". also cannot create 1M partition
   even though system says smallest is 1M: "Can't create 1MB size".
