Hummm, that is doable. I'll think about it over the weekend. However, I'll rather stick to optional instead of linking. That just adds a whole new layer of ugliness to the installation. Besides, I am not sure that would work for all installations. Specially, site wide installations that expect /var/qmail/control to be different. I don't know. I think this would classify as: too much trouble, little gain. As a default, I'll be sticking to optional. Pros? Cons? Ports ppl?
